Who is this for?

One Training, Two Paths

This training is designed to support both the person who wants to go deeper into their own practice and the person who feels called to teach.

  • Path 1 – Personal Practice: Use the forms, lessons, and follow-along library to regulate your nervous system, build vitality, and anchor a lifelong Qigong practice.
  • Path 2 – Teaching & Leadership: Learn how to cue, adapt, and sequence Qigong for different bodies and demographics, and practice real teaching skills in live breakout rooms and form-check sessions.

Both paths are fully supported inside the same integrative framework. You can start as a practitioner, grow into a teacher, or do both in your own time.

What Makes This Training Different

Qigong for the modern age.

This Integrative Qigong Teacher Training brings together the most effective forms and principles from multiple Qigong systems — tested and curated for modern life. You won’t just memorize routines from a single tradition; you’ll gain a diverse toolkit of movements, meditations, and breath practices to meet people where they are — whether they need gentle healing, athletic challenge, emotional regulation, or deeper spiritual cultivation.

A Truly Integrative Approach

Integration here means more than just East meets West. We blend classical forms with modern somatic science, timeless philosophy with practical teaching methods, and solo practice with real interactive learning.

Even though the training is online, we simulate the best parts of in-person experience through:

  • Live Zoom sessions with Q&A and guided practice
  • Breakout room exercises to practice teaching and receive feedback in small groups
  • Private form checks to refine your movement and alignment
  • A supportive learning community to grow with over the 12 weeks

Immersive Learning Resources

Along with live instruction, you’ll receive a professionally filmed library of follow-along Qigong videos, shot in stunning natural environments — mountains, rivers, and forests — to inspire your practice and provide ready-to-use teaching materials. These serve as both your personal practice companions and demonstration tools for your future students.

This training doesn’t just teach Qigong — it equips you to embody, adapt, and share it with authenticity and confidence, no matter who’s in front of you.

STUDENT STORIES

What previous graduates have to say...

“Completing Nick Loffree’s Qigong Teacher Training was a deeply meaningful experience. Nick teaches with clarity, patience, and attention to detail, which made the forms easy to learn yet powerful to embody. I appreciated that he didn’t just teach the movements—he shared the history, the intention, and the deeper “why” behind the practice. It helped me connect to Qigong in a more grounded and authentic way. I felt supported throughout the entire program. Nick brings a balance of calm presence, depth, and a sense of humour that makes learning feel natural and enjoyable. What also set this training apart was the guidance beyond the practice itself. Nick offered practical support on how to begin sharing Qigong with others, including insight into starting a teaching business. If you’re looking to deepen your practice and learn from a teacher who leads with integrity, clarity, and heart, I highly recommend this training.”

“I completed Nick’s level one teacher training and it was one of the best investments I have made. I have trained with other teachers over the past 8 years but it was Nick’s training that elevated my practice and teaching of Qigong. In contrast to many other teachers, Nick is empathetic, patient and adaptable demonstrating no ego. He is also approachable, which is essential when learning new forms and theory. He values all students input and often added more course material, including lectures and videos to deepen our understanding and further explain complex concepts. Unlike previous courses, I felt empowered to create class plans and sequence classes. Many of my own students have noticed the positive influence Nick’s course has had on my own teaching. I look forward to his level two teacher training as I got so much out of Level one. ”

“I took my first Tai Chi class at the YMCA in 1986, and have been doing some type of qigong on and off ever since, mostly with DVDs or on YouTube. I discovered Nick's YouTube channel during the Covid-19 pandemic and fell in love with his videos . I decided to sign up for the spring 2023 teacher training class and was absolutely thrilled with it. Not only does Nick teach several different forms throughout the course, but you also learn about the origins of qigong as well as some traditional Chinese medicine. Learning about the Chinese 5 elements and the energy meridians was one of the highlights of the course for me, as I had never had the opportunity to study this before. Nick's style of teaching resonated so strongly with me that I have also gone on to take several of his other classes as well as attending a few of his retreats, which have all been amazing experiences. Another great feature is that you have lifetime access to the entire course so that if you haven't practiced a particular form in a while you can always go back and review it whenever you want. I highly recommend taking Nick's teacher training to anyone interested in learning about qigong- whether you want to teach it to others or just dive deeper for your own personal experience. ”

“I participated in Lee Holden's Teacher Training program not only once but TWICE. I regularly attend his live subscription classes, I never miss a Master Class and I have trained with Daisy Lee, Roger Jahnke, Nan Lu, Master Ming Tong, Kathy Yang and Ken Cohen. While each one of those teachers is incredible in his/her own right and I have learned so much from them, you have taught me things that I never learned from any other teacher. You are extremely humble about how much you know and I appreciate the wonderful way you have woven so much detailed information into each and every lesson. ”

“I believe Qigong is not only beneficial for our aging population, but an integral component of good health for all ages, so Nick's Teacher Training Level 1 Course was perfect for giving me the confidence to share Qigong with my community. Nick is a friendly, personable teacher whose enthusiasm for Qigong is apparent. His live online classes are fun and engaging, with a Q&A portion (which I recommend folks prepare for each week as extra questions really add to the total experience). The year after I took this course, I started instructing “Qigong for Beginners” twice a week at the 50+ Centres in my city. Nick's course is packed with a variety of movements so every class I lead is unique. He also gives valuable advice on how to market to get participants interested, teaches how to structure the flow of a class, and, before you start teaching, tests your basic knowledge and makes sure that you demonstrate the forms correctly. The live classes are recorded and can be viewed anytime, plus there are numerous extra practice videos which I reference often to remind myself of the exercises. Additional lessons in history and Chinese Medicine as well as a comprehensive manual full of information are included. This course is well worth it - a wonderful 12-weeks for those who plan to teach or anyone who wants to learn more about Qigong.”

“I found Nick Loffree’s Level 1 Teacher Training to be exceptionally well-paced, deeply detailed, and very clearly presented. The course has delivered outstanding value to both my personal practice and professional work. I now apply the techniques and insights from the training in nearly every session—whether I’m teaching breath coaches, working with elite sports, facilitating corporate workshops, running retreats, or supporting individual clients. It has become a foundational part of my approach and an incredible asset to my toolkit.”

FAQ

  • How much Qigong experience do I need?

Total beginners are welcome, and even encouraged, to take a course like this. This way you can build a solid foundation for your practice, right from the start. Most people entering the program will be more at an intermediate level, using it to upgrade their skills and understanding. Join us at any point in your training journey that works for you.

  • Can I do this if I don't want to teach?

Yes! The course is set up so that you can simply skip the lessons that are about teaching and business skills, and just focus on the Qigong.

  • What if I can't make the Live classes?

All good! We always post replays of the Live Classes which you can watch on your own time. You can even submit questions for the Live Q & A's by email, and Nick will answer them in class. You have lifetime access to all the class replays.

  • Can I do this course Self-Paced?

Yes! You have lifetime access to the course content and class replays. If you want to be certified, you have up to one year from the start date of the program to complete the requirements (write the exam, complete the form-checks, log 50 hours practice).

  • Will I be certified from this? Can I get insurance?

Yes, we provide our own "Integrative Qigong Instructor" certificate, which you can provide to Studios or Gyms alongside your resume, or to private liability insurance companies. We have found Namasta.com to be helpful in North America for Qigong insurance. It is even easier if you are already insured for Yoga, Massage, Acupuncture, etc, as you can usually contact your insurer to add Qigong as a modality. We've certified hundreds of students all around the world since 2021, and have never had anyone have an issue with credentials or insurance as of yet.

  • What is your refund policy?

If by the end of Week 2 you feel it’s not for you, we’ll apply your full payment as a credit toward any future or alternative online program. We won't be able to offer refunds, but we doubt you'll want one. Most students have their expectations exceeded by this program!

  • Do You Offer Scholarships?

We strive to make this course affordable, but if you are in serious financial hardship, send us an email with your story to apply for one of our scholarship opportunities. We offer several discounted scholarships, as well as one full free scholarship, each time we run the course.

  • What is the time commitment per week for this course?

The course can be self paced, or you can go through it in the 12 weeks with the group. To get through the course in 12 weeks, you would invest about 7-8 hours per week. This includes 3-4 hours for the live class or replay, 1-2 hours to watch the weekly lecture and form instruction videos, and 1-4 hours of personal practice using the provided videos. Many people choose to take the full year to get through the course. Doing it this way, you could invest as little as 2 hours per week, or 20 minutes per day. If you are not aiming for certification, it can take even less time.
